Important Update: Playbook Is Winding Down

After much consideration, we’ve made the tough decision to wind down Playbook. We know you’ve trusted us with your financial journey, and we’re incredibly grateful for your support.

Here’s what this means for you:

1/ Playbook Will Be Online for 30 More Days
The platform will remain available until October 31, 2024 for you to access and save any information you need. After that, Playbook will no longer be accessible, so we encourage you to download or export any data you want to keep. For any clients who invested via Playbook accounts (Roth IRA, brokerage account, etc.), our custodian, Apex Clearing, will share tax forms in 2025.

2/ Balance Updates & Transactions Are Pausing
Starting today, we will stop updating balances of your externally linked accounts (i.e. accounts outside the Playbook platform)  and processing any transactions or deposits on the platform. Please use this  time to review your accounts or save any information; we will not be processing any deposits on your behalf going forward.

3/ No More Charges
Effective immediately, no additional charges will be made to your payment method. Clients who have paid for a subscription beyond October 31, 2024, but will not receive service due to Playbook’s wind-down, will receive a refund for the unused portion of their subscription.

4/ Clients with Playbook Accounts
Effective immediately, Playbook Adviser will no longer provide investment advisory services. If you have assets in a Playbook-managed account (like a Roth IRA or brokerage account), don’t worry! We’ll be sending you a separate email with clear instructions on how to transfer your assets smoothly; our primary focus is to help you transfer assets to external accounts.

5/ We’ll Keep You Informed
We’ll continue to keep you up to date as things evolve or if there are any changes to this timeline. You’ll always be in the loop about what’s happening next.
